Alex Yakubovich and Stan Garber, Co-Founders of Scout RFP join the podcast to discuss the ins and outs of seeking venture capital dollars. When you’re trying to raise dollars for your business it’s always best to learn from experience and Alex and Stan are sharing their incredible journey with Scout RFP, the second company they’ve raised venture capital for after successfully exiting their first business. They’re sharing how not to screw up raising money.
Alex and Stan share insights on believing in your idea; being honest and true to who you are; the importance of asking for advice; and why you should always prepare. In the end, your business is all about your customers who really just want a product or service that’s usable and makes their life easier. While you’re creating that great product and growing your business ask for advice before asking for capital and take the time to engage in conversations with potential investors. Through the entire process, be honest about who you are. Investors are champions at finding the best place to invest their money and can smell a lie a mile away. Be honest, be yourself and focus on building honest, transparent relationships with potential investors.
Alex and Stan are sharing some great insights on raising venture capital based on their own experiences. Definitely take notes!
